This assembly shows a metal stair railing terminating at a base condition. A vertical closure plate is positioned at the bottom of the railing assembly to cap the vertical members. The railing height is dimensioned at three feet zero inches from the finished floor level. A one and one-half inch clearance is maintained between the railing assembly and the adjacent wall surface.
