Cold-formed steel framing transitions from a floor or roof curb with a continuous track secured to the structural support. A six-hundred or eight-hundred T-one-twenty-five by sixty-eight track receives vertical studs sized and spaced per structural drawings. The track fastens to the concrete curb using Hilti X-U fasteners spaced at eight inches on center with one and one-half inches of embedment. Two number ten Teks screws connect each side of the stud flanges to the track typically. The curb sits atop a metal deck profile sized per structural plans.
