A hollow metal steel door frame is anchored to a steel stud partition wall using a jamb anchor clip. The gypsum board layers are finished with tape and joint compound, maintaining the continuity of the fire-rated partition. The fire-rated door closes against the frame, with dimensional clearances indicated from the frame to adjacent wall construction.
