Beams frame into a structural steel column with a three-quarter-inch plate welded to the column per engineering details using a five-sixteenths weld size. The connection incorporates special moment frame or seismic force-resisting system clip configurations similar to reference details to clear the column k-area. Beams are sized per plan and connected with bolts through the plate assembly.
