A portal jamb connection at a retail partition condition consists of a three-quarter-inch MT25 steel plate anchored with countersunk screws, coordinated for alignment with the portal header above. Metal framing supports the partition, which receives scheduled tile set in a thinset mortar bed. Fasteners are spaced four inches from the rear of the plate to align with the portal header. Tenant drywall is specified per partition plans except at concession and retail areas.
