An aluminum storefront system bears on a raised concrete curb at Level 5, set at elevation 59'-3 1/2". The joint between the aluminum frame and the concrete curb is sealed with sealant and a backer rod. The concrete curb sits directly atop a lightweight concrete over metal deck structural floor assembly.
