A pipe passes through an acoustical wall assembly supported by suspended hangers. A sleeve surrounds the pipe within the wall penetration, sealed at the annular space with acoustical sealant or packing. Hangers are anchored overhead to support the piping alignment on both sides of the wall. Sound damping insulation fills the surrounding wall cavity to maintain acoustic isolation.
