This horizontal section shows a three-quarter inch joint between two concrete tilt-up wall panels. A backer rod is installed at each face of the joint, with continuous sealant applied from the footing to the top of the panel and across the joint. The joint width is maintained at three-quarters of an inch as a typical condition.
