A flanged window jamb assembly is set within an exterior wall construction. The window unit specified per schedule is installed adjacent to a weather-resistant barrier liner, with a backer rod and sealant-2 applied at the interior interface. The exterior window flange laps over a self-adhering membrane, designated as S.A.M.2, which is further integrated with a shingled primary water-resistant barrier lapped over the flange. Sealant-5 and a combination of backer rod and sealant-1 provide weather sealing at the exterior perimeter. Furring is positioned beneath the siding, which is installed per elevation over the framing per architectural specifications.
