A four-inch minimum concrete housekeeping pad bears on a roughened four-inch topping concrete slab. The pad is reinforced with six by six ten-slash-ten welded wire fabric and anchored using number four drilled dowels with a two-inch embedment into epoxy grout at one foot six inches on center maximum each way with a minimum of four dowels per pad. The top level of the pad is held while the location and size are verified with mechanical and electrical contractors.
