Thin brick veneer is adhered to a concrete tilt-up wall panel using thin brick mortar over a liquid-applied air and water barrier. Concrete tilt-up release agents are thoroughly removed from the substrate via chemical or sandblasting prior to veneer installation. A continuous joint features a backer rod and elastomeric sealant between architectural cast stone elements. The concrete tilt-up panel surface receives proper surface preparation to ensure adequate adhesion of the waterproofing and mortar layers.
