This assembly supports a mechanical unit atop a roof structure using metal framing and APA-rated sheathing, with structural requirements referenced separately. A two-piece stainless steel flashing system provides weather protection at the curb perimeter, sealed with sealant material at the top interface. The roofing system, including a vapor retarder, terminates at the base of the curb with a cant strip transition. The metal framing is anchored to the roof deck, which is supported by the underlying structural assembly.
