An extruded aluminum rectangular fascia measuring two inches by four inches by one-eighth inch thick caps the end of the sunshade assembly, secured with three-eighths-inch by one-and-one-half-inch stainless steel alignment bolts and one-quarter-inch aluminum spacers. Six-inch aluminum airfoil blades are fastened between framing members using one-quarter-inch by one-inch stainless steel flush head screws. The entire sunshade projects two feet six inches from the supporting concrete or structural element, with a total height of six inches.
