A PVC surface mount box or equipment is attached to metal studs or backing track behind an interior wall or ceiling panel. A continuous vapor retarder runs behind the panel framing. All conduit or tubing connections to the box or equipment are fully sealed, and duct seal is applied after running wires. Sealant is applied all around the perimeter of the box where it meets the panel.
