A cold-formed steel wall brace consisting of a 600S162-33 stud spaced at twenty-four inches on center connects to an overhead concrete slab on metal deck. Four Hilti DS powder-actuated fasteners with a two-inch embedment anchor the assembly directly into the concrete deck. Four number twelve Tek screws secure the 600S162-33x one-foot six-inch member at the brace location.
