A cold-formed steel box header connects to a double jamb using extended header tracks and sheet metal screws. The header track webs are cut and folded over the track web as shown, with webs extended and lapped to the studs and fastened with two number 8 sheet metal screws on each side. Two number 8 sheet metal screws secure the head track, and one bay blocking member ties into the assembly with number 8 sheet metal screws on each side.
