This two hour rated shaftwall assembly conforms to UL U415 System B and extends to the underside of the deck. The construction consists of a one inch gypsum board liner panel and two layers of five-eighths inch gypsum board supported on four inch twenty gauge minimum C-H metal studs spaced at twenty-four inches on center. Three and a half inches of insulation are installed between the studs.
