A 1-1/2-inch-diameter standard steel pipe guardrail is mounted at 3'-6" above the landing, paired with a 1-1/4-inch-diameter standard steel pipe handrail at 3'-0". The assembly features a painted steel channel stringer supporting concrete-filled metal pan stairs and a concrete-filled landing platform with reinforcing steel. All connections are welded and ground smooth, maintaining a maximum 3-7/8" spacing between intermediate rails. Refer to detail 3 for typical notes.
