Porcelain tile set over a mortar or adhesive bed transitions down to a concrete floor slab using an ADA-compliant sloping resilient trim piece. The tapered transition strip anchors adjacent to the tile edge to bridge the elevation difference and eliminate tripping hazards at the floor junction.
