A noise barrier wall system is fastened to the inside face of a mechanical screen hollow structural section measuring 10 by 8 inches. The structural steel tube is positioned adjacent to a 10-inch thick concrete wall. Horizontal subgirts are fastened to the hollow structural section by the metal roof screen manufacturer with specified minimum clearances.
