The assembly is supported by primary structural steel framing protected with two-hour rated spray-on fireproofing. A three-and-five-eighths-inch metal stud (362S162-54) and track at sixteen inches on center forms the cold-formed steel framing. A base plate and anchor bolt secure the stair stringer to the landing. Gypsum board continues below the stair tread to form the ceiling finish.
