A suspended acoustical ceiling system uses a heavy-duty T-bar grid connected to wall molding with BERC2 clips or pop rivets spaced at a maximum of eight inches on center. The perimeter supporting closure angle provides a seven-eighths-inch ledge for the ceiling grid support. Unattached wall conditions incorporate a slip track with a three-quarter-inch clearance and one and one-half inches of total travel to accommodate seismic movement. Main runner webs restrict separation from wall molding using screws or pop rivets. Hanger wires, BERC2 clips, and pop rivets secure the system according to assembly legends and seismic requirements.
