A twenty-gauge one-and-a-half by one-and-a-half-inch continuous wall angle is fastened at the perimeter. The ceiling main runner is supported by hanger wires spaced a maximum of eight inches away from the wall. A saddle tie using number eighteen wire secures the runner to the main components. Number ten self-tapping screws connect the wall angle to each stud. The main runner is positioned with a maximum six-inch spacing on each side.
