A weak-axis steel girder connection at a column per plan utilizes a three-eighths-inch typical shear tab plate welded with five-sixteenths-inch fillet welds. Two three-quarter-inch diameter erection bolts with standard slotted holes are provided in the beam and shear tab typical. Diagonal bracing members connect via one-half-inch and three-eighths-inch gusset plates welded to the structural framing with five-sixteenths-inch fillet welds and complete joint penetration welds designated for seismic force-resisting systems. Additional notes specify beam top and bottom beam guide configurations and required clearances.
