A hemmed angle molding is anchored to the stud wall partition using number 10 sheet metal screws at each stud connection. The main or cross runner terminates at the wall molding and is secured with an Armstrong BERC 2 end retaining clip, ESR-1308. A screw is tightened through the main runner web to restrict separation from the wall molding. The runner is suspended by a twelve gauge hanger wire with a minimum of three tight turns in three inches, positioned within eight inches maximum from the wall.
