A reinforced membrane is secured to a masonry wall or wood framed wall using a bonding adhesive. Metal counterflashing is fastened to the wall surface with mechanical fasteners and sealed along its top edge with manufacturer-approved sealant. The counterflashing laps over the membrane termination to protect the edge from moisture infiltration.
