Exterior stone panels interface with a structural steel frame using a recessed joint configuration. Bond breaker tape is applied at the steel frame interface within the joint. Sealant is installed flush with the face of the exterior stone, maintaining specific dimensioned clearances including three-eighths inch and one-quarter inch gaps.
