Twelve-gauge hanger wires support main runners and cross runners of an acoustic ceiling suspension grid, secured with a minimum of three tight turns at the end condition. Acoustic panels bear on the grid system with cross runners spaced at a maximum of eight inches. Two nails at the end of horizontal struts are placed with the nail head toward the centerline of the span of the strut.
