Concrete slab edge condition at a stair opening supported by a steel beam and ledger angle framing. A continuous 1 1/2-inch by 1-inch stainless steel closure angle caps the slab edge. A guardrail with a cover is anchored into a new concrete deck infill over the existing slab. The underside of the assembly is finished with three-and-five-eighths-inch metal stud framing, metal hat channel, and five-eighths-inch gypsum board.
