An 8-inch steel pole with a painted finish mounts to a 12-inch by 12-inch by 1-inch base plate set over drypack on a concrete pedestal. Four 3/4-inch by 24-inch hot-dipped galvanized steel anchor bolts with 2-inch hooks secure the base into the footing with 20 inches of minimum embedment. The reinforced concrete pedestal incorporates three number 4 ring ties at 4 inches on center near the top, and number 4 vertical bars at 8 1/2 inches on center with five number 4 ring ties equally spaced below. A copper ground conductor connects to a copper ground rod and PVC conduit embedded within the 3000 PSI concrete foundation.
