Head and sill junction of a window opening within a concrete tilt-up wall. The aluminum window frame connects to the concrete wall via anchors installed per the manufacturer's specifications, maintaining a 3/8-inch joint clearance. A continuous bead of sealant seals the perimeter. Shims are installed as required with sealant over a backer rod at each side of the opening.
