The exterior door sill is installed per manufacturer instructions to comply with ADA requirements at the building threshold. An interior finish floor level 01 transitions at the interior side, while a concrete sidewalk or exterior finish as scheduled meets the exterior side. A one-half-inch joint filler is placed below the sill adjacent to the exterior paving and subgrade.
