The assembly consists of a one-half-inch Corian solid surface over a one-half-inch plywood countertop with a one-half-inch radius edge, supported by ledger rails under three sides of the counter. The substrate is constructed from melamine-faced one-quarter-inch material with a melamine liner on all interior surfaces typically. The front edge features a finish exposed surface aligned with the door finish, concealed door hinges, and a pull referenced to a keynote. Casework backing is installed typically per detail eleven on sheet A955, secured with sealant at the wall junction.
