The plastic laminate countertop assembly features a premium grade front edge banding applied before the top surface laminate. Self edge banding finishes the exposed vertical edge of the substrate. A brown backer balancing sheet is applied to the underside to prevent warping. Wood blocking supports the overhang and connects to the casework support below.
