Roof metal deck specifications require Verco 1-5/16 inch by 20 gauge deep Vercor galvanized G-90 metal deck with nestable side laps complying with ICC report number ER-2078P. The deck attaches to steel supports using ITW Buildex Teks self-drilling, self-tapping screws with hex heads and integral Maxiseal washers, sized according to the steel support thickness. Support thicknesses less than 3/16 inch use #12-14 by 3/4 inch Teks 3 screws, thicknesses from 1/8 to 1/4 inch use #12-24 by 7/8 inch Teks 4 screws, and thicknesses from 1/4 to 1/2 inch use #12-24 by 1-1/4 inch Teks 5 screws. Nestable sidelaps at top in inverted position use #12-14 by 3/4 inch Teks 1 screws at 12 inches on center with a Taks screw 36/4 pattern. Two rows of boundary screws are required all around openings.
