This enlarged handrail section details a 1 1/2-inch diameter painted steel pipe top rail supported by 1 1/4-inch diameter painted intermediate steel pipe posts spaced at four feet on center, with 1 1/2-inch diameter painted steel pipe posts at the ends. The posts insert into a 2 1/2-inch standard steel pipe sleeve that is welded with a 1/4-inch steel plate at the bottom. The assembly is secured with anchoring cement set within a concrete structural element, maintaining a minimum depth of 6 inches and a standard height of 3 feet zero inches.
