Light-gauge metal stud framing details show standard configurations for wall intersections, outside corners, and horizontal bridging connections. Three metal studs align at intersections and corners with gypsum board lines indicated, fastened with number eight sheet metal screws at sixteen inches on center into intersecting studs. Horizontal bridging utilizes one and a half inch by sixteen gauge members with half-inch flanges for three-and-a-half-inch or four-inch studs, or two-and-a-half-inch by sixteen-gauge members for six-inch studs. Bridging clips measuring one and a half by one and a half inches by sixteen gauge attach at each stud and bridging line using four number ten screws as indicated. Bridging splices overlap with two number ten screws and specified four-inch and six-inch dimensions.
