A wide-flange column base plate is welded to a column flange with associated collector connections. Four 1-3/4-inch diameter F1554 Grade 105 anchor bolts secure the base plate, featuring a contractor option for oversized holes per section 6/S7.3. The assembly rests on a 1/2-inch non-shrink grout layer over the top of the mat slab. Double nuts, standard washers, and number 5 legs are provided at each anchor bolt embedded with a 12-diameter minimum hook length. Welds are indicated with a 5/16-inch fillet weld size, and all complete penetration welds are to be executed prior to bolt tensioning.
